Jujutsu Kaisen Incremental — Prestige Guide
Prestige is the most powerful progression mechanic in Jujutsu Kaisen Incremental. Once you reach Special Grade (see Grade System), you unlock the ability to Prestige — resetting your Grade back to 4 in exchange for a permanent CE multiplier that applies to all future play. Each Prestige cycle is faster than the last because the multiplier compounds. Understanding the reset tradeoffs and the optimal timing for each Prestige is critical for long-term progression. - —Enemy kills / combat progress
✅ Kept After Prestige

CE Multiplier per Prestige
The CE multiplier is the reason Prestige exists. Each Prestige adds a permanent multiplier to all CE you earn from any source — combat, idle accumulation, and boss kills. The multiplier compounds across Prestiges, meaning each cycle is exponentially faster than the last.
| Prestige | CE Multiplier | Relative Speed vs P0 | New Content Unlocked |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0 (Base) | 1× | Baseline | Grade 4 → Special Grade progression |
| 1 | ~2.5× | ~2.5× faster | Mahoraga boss becomes viable |
| 2 | ~6× | ~6× faster | Prestige 2 enemy tier unlocks |
| 3 | ~12× | ~12× faster | Max Cursed Tool drop quality |
| 4 | ~20× | ~20× faster | Farming loop fully optimized |
| 5+ | ~30×+ | ~30×+ faster | Diminishing gains — grind mode |

Optimal Prestige Timing
Special Grade unlocks Prestige. Many players delay trying to 'prepare' or farm Mahoraga first. This is wrong. The CE multiplier from Prestige 1 will let you re-reach Special Grade faster than any preparation gives back. Prestige immediately every time it's available.
Scrolls carry over through Prestige. Make sure you haven't left reroll opportunities on the table. If you have 20+ CT scrolls saved, spend them targeting a Legendary+ CT before Prestige so your post-Prestige Grade 4 starts stronger.
CT Mastery resets on Prestige. Your first priority after Prestige 1 is re-grinding CT Mastery to unlock your key combat moves — specifically your first AoE or high-damage move. Without moves, your combat efficiency is severely handicapped.
'I want Cursed CT before Prestige' is the most common mistake. Legendary CT is good enough for the Prestige cycle. The CE multiplier compounds — every Prestige you delay is exponential progress lost. Perfect build hunting should happen between Prestige cycles, not as a gate.
Prestige Cycle Checklist
Follow this loop every Prestige cycle for maximum efficiency:
- 1. Grade 4: Immediately grind CT Mastery to unlock first move (50 Mastery)
- 2. Grade 4→3: Fight enemies to reach Grade 3 — use your first CT move
- 3. Grade 3: Farm Higuruma boss (5k CE fee) — drop Executioner's Sword if possible
- 4. Grade 3→2: Equip best Cursed Tool — continue boss farming
- 5. Grade 2→1: Unlock CT move 2 (150 Mastery) — push to Grade 1 content
- 6. Grade 1: Grind Raids for Scroll income — farm Yuta for Rika's Arm
- 7. Grade 1 → Semi-Special: Unlock CT move 3 (ideally 300–400 Mastery)
- 8. Semi-Special: Farm Ishigori for Rock Cannon — optimize all 4 build slots
- 9. Special Grade: PRESTIGE IMMEDIATELY — do not delay

Prestige FAQ
No. Curse Race is a permanent character type selected at creation that wipes all data. Prestige is a cyclical mechanic unlocked at Special Grade. They are completely separate systems.
Yes — there is no cap on Prestige count. Each Prestige adds to the permanent CE multiplier. Prestige 5+ is considered the long-term grind phase where gains become incremental rather than transformative.
Your scroll inventory carries over, but equipped Cursed Tools are lost. After Prestiging, you'll need to re-earn or re-equip tools during the new Grade 4→Special Grade cycle.
Yes. Prestige and boss completion are independent. Prestige 1's CE multiplier will help you reach the power level needed to beat Mahoraga faster on your next cycle than delaying Prestige would.
